Sarah graduated from Thomas Jefferson University with a Master of Occupational Therapy in 2013 and also holds a Bachelor of Education from Kent State University. Sarah is passionate about supporting the sensory and emotional regulation needs of people across the lifespan, including older adults with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and a Level 1 Advanced Professional in Sensory Processing Disorder (credentialed by the STAR Institute for SPD). Sarah is the founder and owner of Sensory for Dementia, LLC where she provides informational and educational resources to teach people how to support the sensory needs of adults with dementia. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys traveling, hiking, snuggling with her cat, and dating her husband!
